My name is Ekaterina Ugriumova, and I am an architect.

I graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, studied on a master’s programme at Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, and have worked in public architecture and interior design for more than twenty years.

I design hotels in their entirety: from master planning and building architecture to public spaces and guestrooms, remaining involved from the first sketches through to delivery and opening.

My professional aim is not only to create an artistically compelling property, but also to shape a hotel as a coherent hospitality product in which architecture and interiors, sense of place, operator requirements, the guest journey, operations and budget all work together.

I personally develop the key conceptual decisions for every project. Depending on its scale, a team of specialists joins the process, while the design concept and oversight of its implementation remain my responsibility.

My portfolio includes projects for Radisson Blu, Radisson Collection, Park Inn, Holiday Inn, MGallery, World Class and other brands.

My hotel projects vary, but they are united by one principle: hotel architecture comes together when it responds to its location, brand, the economics of delivery and the guest it is designed for.
